How can I make a gift in honor or memory of someone?
You can make an honor or memorial gift by selecting the “In Honor Of” or “In Memory Of” option on UCF’s online giving form. You may also make a tribute gift by mail or phone.
Will the honoree or their family be notified of my gift?
When you make a gift online, you will be prompted to select if you’d like someone to be notified about your gift and how you’d like your name to appear.
What will my gift support?
You may designate your gift to a specific fund, department, program, scholarship or area of need. If no designation is selected, your contribution will support the university’s unrestricted fund or other priority areas.
Can I create a named fund or endowment to honor someone?
Yes. Many donors choose to create named scholarships, endowments or program funds. Minimum funding levels may apply depending on the type of fund.
